My ex-husband and I bought a home in 1987 we divorced in 1989 and I signed a quit claim deed to the home over to him. In 1995 a collection agency tried to collect from me because my ex was foreclosed on. A judgment was filed in April of 1995 in a county court. How long will this remain on my record?

I filed for a divorce, so I am legally seperated. I am with another guy now. We had a child together. However because I was married at the time of my delivery, my child got my soon to be ex-husbands last name. My ex-husband asked for a DNA Test for child support reasons. The DNA came back that the EX is NOT the Father! But here I am stuck. Since he is not the father and I am with the childs father, how do I go about getting her last name changed to her biological fathers last name? Do I just have to go to the Health Dept in the county she was born and give it to Vital Records and get a new birth certificate? Go before an attourney? Please help me.

My ex filed for divorce after he got out of prison while my daughter was visiting him. He placed a restraining order against me so I couldn’t see her. I tried to get legal aide but there were no funds available so I represented myself. In court he tested positive for marijuana while on Parole. I have no record other than a DWI in 1998. My husband was awarded the right to designate where she lives and I got standard visitation. He continues to with hold visitation and has from the beginning. I have since moved several counties away and now want someone to review the facts of the case. The baliff testified and lied in court so I need someone out of that county to review everything.

Met him through online dating website over 2 months ago, and he’s a deputy for sheriffs department. We recently had sex a week after he got married. He claims he’s going to get an annulment because the relationship is not working. However I asked him if he had ever been married he said no, then his wife called and mass chaos broke out. I asked him for the truth he tells me that he’s been divorced for 6 months now but it’s still not the truth. I went and looked it up in the county records sure enough they got married. He’s claiming now that he’s separated that he wanted out of the relationship before marriage but it became to much pressure and everything so he went with it but now feels like he’s found the right person (me). I’m wanting to know should I continue to stay with him or tell him good-bye. Everyone tells me he’s just gonna continue to lie and deceive me if he does get the annulment and to leave him now. What should I do?

Lost in love,

Goldie
